Recently, there were two photographs which were released and it shows a huge snake-like creature. Allegedly, the photos were taken in Borneo and now, they are causing locals to wonder if a local legend may have come alive.

According to legend, the Nabau was a terrifying snake which has over 100ft length having a dragon’s head and seven nostrils. Now, local villagers living along the Baleh River in Borneo believe that the mythical creature has returned after the photos came out.

The picture was taken by a member of a disaster team monitoring flood regions by helicopter. A debate arose as to whether the photos are real or were just edited in order to look like a snake. The image that sparked fears a giant serpent was stalking the river Baleh. Even the respected New Straits Times newspaper in Kuala Lumpur has asked readers to make up their own minds about the photos.

People who conducted a study stated that the photograph of the shape taken from the air have dismissed suggestions that it’s a log.
