Tayloy Hicks Returns To American Idol!
Thursday, April 30th, 2009Taylor Hicks is back on “American Idol” for a performance. He returned to the Idol stage to sing his latest single “Seven Mile Breakdown” which is featured in his album entitled “The Distance.”
Taylor Reuben Hicks is an American singer who became famous in 2006 when he won during the fifth season of American Idol. He started as a professional musician when he was still a teenager. He performed around the Southeastern United States for well over the span of a decade. At that time, he also released two independent albums. When he won the Idol, he signed to Artista Records, under which his self-titled major label debut was released in December 12, 2006.
The Alabama native who is known for his blues and soul music has released his sophomore album last month on his own label, Modern Whomp Records. The first single of this album is “What’s Right is Right” which made it to No. 22 on the Hot AC Charts.
Hicks is currently on tour in Grease playing Teen Angel, the role originated by Alan Paul.
