Obama Looks Good in 30 Minute Obama Ad on TV

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

In its most polished performance, Barack Obama presidential election hopes were conveyed, as a man who loves his family and his country.

The 30 min Obama commercial was presented to the television network Wednesday (at a cost of approx $ 4 million to $ 5 million), it is possible that some have changed their minds in favor of Obama, while strengthening the support of many others already in his camp.

Some voters will of course be turned off by Hollywood-quality production.

Philadelphia or Philadelphia fans might be a bit angry as pre-game festivities of the World Series were pre-empted?

Ultimately,  Mr. Obama used his impeccable 30 minutes. The 30 minute Obama ad video should have converted more than just a handful of voters, his millions of dollars are spent wisely.

In fact, the 30-min infomercial is a summary of the main themes of Mr. Obama in the campaign: his plans to stimulate the economy, the reorientation of the automotive industry, health care reform, ending the war in Iraq and the renewal of direct diplomacy with our enemies.

He also had a human angle, talking about his mother reading to him at 4 am.

But even more effective were the personal stories of Americans – from most swing states – stories of them  trying to survive in a country apparently not working effectively.

Despite the current difference in the polls, the presidential race is not over. As John McCain has pointed out, there is some valid reasons not to vote for Mr. Obama, and the partisan divide in this country will make some of the drama on election day.

On Wednesday, however, Mr. Obama introduced a video portrait of the reasons for considering that this is the best option for the United States. This 30 minute commercial infomercial will probably be available soon on youtube.com.

This 30 min informercial will probably be more engaging to the viewer than any election rally or speech.
