Stacey Castor Indicted for The Murder of Her First Husband!

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

The Town of Clay woman named Stacey Castor who was accused for poisoning her husband in 2005 and attempting to kill her daughter earlier this year has just been indicted last Thursday by an Onondaga County Grand Jury.

It can be remembered that the mother of two, Stacey Castor, was charged with second-degree murder for the death of her husband, second-degree attempted murder for attempting to kill her 20-year-old daughter Ashley Wallace by giving her a cocktail laced with drugs, and offering a false instrument in the first degree. She was accused of intentionally poisoning David Castor with anti-freeze. It began four years ago, in August 2005, when Stacey Castor was at work waiting for her husband, David, to arrive. Now 41-year-old Stacey Castor worked as an office manager at her husband’s business, Liverpool Heating and Air Conditioning, according to ABC.

Days after the apparent suicide death of 48-year-old David, her second husband, in 2005, Stacey buried him in a rural cemetery in upstate New York. Next to the plot David was Stacey’s first husband, Michael Wallace, who died five years earlier at the age of 38 by reason of a heart attack.

Stacey Castor was thereafter convicted of killing her husband and attempting to kill her daughter. Cayuga County could be one step closer to an indictment for the murder of her first husband.

Janice Poissant’s family has closure now that Castor has been convicted of David’s murder. However, on the part of the Wallace family, not yet. According to Poissant, because Michael Wallace’s body never underwent an autopsy immediately after his death, Stacey Castor got away with murder. She further stated that if an immediate autopsy was done, this would be a different story.

The judge in the case is reviewing the transcript and researching. He will make his decision May 4th.
